I've used the Spider Pod, which is great but very pricy. I've used a small stage section, which gives plenty of height but trembles from any operator movement.

Does anyone else make a tripod riser - universal leg extensions, another type of folding tripod stand, something to raise the tripod 18" to 24" - that is less expensive?
