Hey guys! So I just posted my latest short film on YouTube:

Local Hero (Short Film HD) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRX93cx5lfo)

This "film" was shot with a canon 5d and all the outdoor footage was shot gorilla style. I think it turned out pretty nice, tons of special effects starting about halfway through using cinema 4d and after effects. I used premiere to but the chunks together, let me know what you think or if you have any questions! Thanks for watching!

Congrats Steven, not only well filmed/edited, but a good script too... the kind that makes you stop at least for a minute and think.

You know it's good when it's able to stop us, running fellas for almost half an hour to watch! Did that for me...

Thanks guys! I put a lot of work into making this, did all of the shooting, editing, vfx etc myself. Also I played the jackass clerk at the shipping store :-) Thanks a ton for watching it, it means a lot to me! Please share the link if you like it :-) I think the script could be turned into a feature, but I'm only one guy so I decided on the oddish much shorter length. I think it hurt us a little bit at festivals, but it seemed like the way to go and I hope it works

Hey Steve,

Great Job... that's an ambitious short. If nothing else, it's a good primer for a feature. Good casting/directing too btw.
