I have looked all over. I'm trying to find HD video of the process of taking a diamond straight from the ground through the processes until it's ready to be set.

I remember watching a recent documentary about diamonds, and that most of the world's diamonds are cut in India today. Little boys are trained to grind the diamonds because they have sharp eyes. Then when they turn around 14, they are retired from the trade.

That sounds like child labour, which runs counter to the glamorous image of the final product.
