I am ready for SDE,what Projector you suggest ? or tell me your experience with the one that you are using !!! Thanks !! Jeff Brewer November 11th, 2011, 08:37 PM Hey Franklin. Here is a great article on presenting SDE's. EventDV.net: The Event Videographer's Resource (http://www.eventdv.net/Articles/News/Feature/Getting-the-Most-Out-of-Your-Same-Day-Edits-74608.htm) As it suggests the Optoma TH1060 is really amazing for it's high lumens and great value. Art Varga November 12th, 2011, 07:43 AM Frankin - I just started doing SDEs and use this InFocus IN146 Short Throw Projector IN146 B&H Photo Video It's a "short throw" projector so you don't need a lot of room between the projector and screen. I'm very happy with it. Art Franklin Bencosme November 12th, 2011, 10:09 AM HEY !! Art and Jeff !! thanks for the sugesstion, what about the most EASY and practical screen for the location, all my weddings are during the night by the way ! Thanks Long Truong August 30th, 2012, 01:37 PM Bumping this thread up and wondering if anyone would have recommendations for a super bright + short throw projector. I will be doing video presentations at a trade show and will require something that can project a bright image on a 8x8 screen at less than 10 feet. Since it the environment is also going to be bright, I'll need something over 3000 lumens by preference. Please help! None of the ones listed is a short-throw projector either... Noel Lising August 31st, 2012, 01:49 PM You need a projector with interchangeable lens, the ones being sold at BHP has fixed lenses. The projectors with interchangeable lens are expensive to buy. You can rent a 5K projector for $ 500 plus a .8 lens for $ 150 in Toronto. Robert Musiello September 1st, 2012, 08:15 AM Why not a 52" led for the trade show... why not show your best quality to book weddings... I do tons of shows in NY and we are a very busy studio... First impressions books weddings... Long Truong September 2nd, 2012, 04:52 PM Thanks for the suggestion Robert but I'm really looking for a projector in this case. If anyone has any recommendations, don't hesitate! |
