Hi all,
The file converter software link at CD's website doesn't seem to be up and working. Am I missing something? I need the software that will take a MOV and convert over to an MXF.
I have a producer who wants to log the footage on a PC, with timecode, so I am thinking that the XDCam transfer software is the best option. The problem is, I shot everything in MOV files... and XDcam transfer won't recognize the files.
Any help is appreciated. Searches on google turn up mostly MXF to MOV conversions... not much help.

Hello Scott,
We went live with our new site yesterday, So we have been tracking down missing links
Downloads | nanoFlash, nano3D, FlashXDR (http://cd.contentpros.org/Products/nanoFlash/Downloads.aspx)
Sorry about that,
The MOV to MXF file converter tends to be the easiest for post, and it will not compress the files, but simply make a copy of them with the MXF wrapper.
Hope that Helps

Once the footage had been converted to MXF files, I'd recommend the Sony XDcam Viewer software PDZ-VX10. Free / easy to use / great image !

OK, looks like the link is back up and working on the CD site. Thanks CD.
Now, I have a question about the program itself....
How in the world do I get it to recognize a drive on my system? I cannot seem to find any option in the "source folder" button that sees a drive. I've set the file type options to "all files" and CF/mxf/mov,etc. but none of them see drives on my system. All of my files are on external drives, not on the computer's internal hard drive.
The external drives are showing on my desktop, but not on the file converter software.
Help!

Dear Scott,
Are you working on a PC or a Mac?

Mac.
After fiddling, I stumbled upon the Volumes folder, where the drives were hiding. Man, they were buried.
If I can suggest, it would be great to be able to see any drives from the dropdown menu at the top of the "open" files window.
