Hi,
When trying to de-interlace material I've noticed that if one converts, say from ProRes, to H.264 in QT having selected the de-interlace source material, it does nothing, nor do the QT real time single field / de-interlace controls have any effect. It's as if the interlacing is 'burnt in' to the image as part of the H.264 conversion.
On a related note the Prores file does respond to the real time QT settings but the de-interlace option on conversion does not work even if I simply 'convert' to another Prores file.
So, how does on de-interlace Prores files?
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks.
