Love my new XA10. Haven't really had a chance to get into the details of the camera, but was wondering; can we use the same picture styles as the Canon DSLR's. I bought the camera to be a "B" cam to my 5D. I was wondering if there was anyway I could load Technicolor or any of the other popular pic styles?

no you can't use the same picture styles that you use for Canon DSLRs, XA10 has 9 internal adjustable cinema filters, changing settings you can get close to popular Canon DSLR cinestyle picture profiles, but it will not exactly the same.

In custom setting you can make manual adjustments. Very limited to contrast, brightness, sharpness etc. Nothing like the profile setting on my XF-100/300.
