Hi all

Finally registered after a long time mining this place for answers and advice.

I work from home producing wedding and events videos. I shoot with a Sony Z5e and it has served me very well.

Looking forward to being part of this community.

Welcome Dave! I'm a 'newbie', too. We 'noobs' have to stick together. Heh, heh!

Enjoy the ride,

J.

Hey Dave, welcome to the forum. It's the best videomaking resource on the web, I've never known a forum like this.

Don't worry about being a "newbie" here. I'm still learning something new every time I visit!

Hi, David................

How far is Teeside from Newcastle and Northumberland? (Bloody stupid question, I lived in the UK for over 25 years and STILL don't know it!).

Loved both of the latter but never made it to the former (unless Teeside IS Newcastle, in which case my ignorance is writ very large indeed).

Good to have you on board mate, newbies always welcome, heck, I was one, once (and look what happened to me, total raving loony in charge of a keyboard!).

Enjoy.

PS: And don't drink the water, there's sommat strange about it.

Hi Mike and Chris

Teesside is about 40 miles south of Newcastle. I get quite a bit of work from that area and there are some beautiful places to shoot at.

Welcome aboard!

I used to own a Z5, still rent one everyone now and then, (usually a z7 as the rental houses up in Glasgow seem to favour the Z7 over the Z5)

Great cam, Kinda miss it :(

Anyway, good to have another UK wedding shooter on the boards
