Gday Dan,
I'm close to purchasing the Nano now, just a few questions to help clarify if I may.
I own a JVC HD251 and currently use the DRDH100, when I record using this device I can see in my view finder a record confirmation, as a lot of my work is on the shoulder/run n gun work does the nano provide this or may in future updates? I know it shows on the unit itself, but if I were shoulder mounted I guess it just wastes a bit more time taking the camera off my shoulder to check. In a wedding type scenario it could mean missing something important.
Secondly, I note looking at the manual that you can't record 720 50p with audio? I see you have some feature which I'm not sure I understand that I can shoot 720 50p with audio, but then the nano drops every second frame and keeps the the audio. Why would one do that? My camera records 720 50p with audio, it'd be great to keep this ability, could this be a future update?
Lastly, I can currently record to the DRDH100 without needing tape in the camera to be recorded to at the same time. Is this possible with the nano, I basically want to eliminate tape drive hum from my audio with my shotgun mic.
Thanks Dan
Kind Regards
Adam
