I was at a New York City camera event-CreativeSphere-where several camera firms had displays.
In walking thru the exhibits, I stopped into the JVC booth to look over the HM150 (mock-up under glass) and the new 7xx series JVC pro camera.
I like JVC cameras.
Years and years ago I had a JVC DV500 which was great for what it did.
I have used the HD100/200 series and have been a fan.
I would even still consider buying a used HD110 because of the ergos and what it does in 720p.
I complimented the JVC rep on staying in the game and not abandoning camera production to the big 3 Sony/Panasonic/Canon.
The fellow I spoke to was...Craig Yanagi!
This is the same Craig Yanagi that monitors the JVC on the DVINFO site.
I told him how the DVINFO site appreciated having a JVC rep monitor the board.
We gabbed about the business of digital acquisition (cameras!) and then I moved on.
I felt the need to share with you good DVINFO folks the obvious-Craig Yanagi exists (and he seemed like a good guy!).
YMMV
Be well
