I've bought a Sony VCL-HG0872 72mm lens for my Z5, and the lens wont fit due the thread on lens not going to the edge of it.

Does anyone know a fix - ie some kind of adaptor, before I put it back on Ebay?

Sorry to be the one to tell you but...the VCL-HG0872 is not the correct WA adaptor for your camera. The Z5 uses the VCL-HG0872X or VCL-HG0872K with a bayonet style mount. AFAIK, there is no adaptor to help you mount your WA adaptor to your camera. If it's a recent purchase, can you exchange it for one of the adaptors listed above?

Thanks - it's disappointing that this 72mm lens doesn't fit my 72mm cam connection. It looks like this lens might need a new home. It was designed for the Sony FX1, but I wonder what else it will fit.
