Somebody is going to say RTFM on this one but I'm really booked and don't have the energy.
Tomorrow we'll be shooting with a boom connected directly to the camera and to some external device. I currently don't have the camera with me and can't test this so I'm asking you folks... We'll be recording from the inbuilt mic and from the boom. And my question goes: how can the sound guy listen only to his sound being recorded from the boom. If you plug the headsets in the camera you'll hear the mix of all the channels. Is there a right combination of CH1 and CH2 that needs to be selected in order to listen only to the input 1 or 2?
Thanks!:) Hope I was clear...
