I know this question BEGS the canned answer "it depends on a million factors" but please stay with me. I know NO ONE can tell me the exact amount. What I'm looking for a just a rough ball park idea.
I've got Spanish language program that's a cooking/fitness show. It's very well done with 3-camera RED cams, dollies, jib, etc. in a fancy kitchen and workout set and good looking models.
I've never sold a show to a network as my studio and services are always contracted out, but this is my first show I want to sell myself to the Latin market from Mexico down to Chile.
We will have 13 shows done by the end of the year and I wanted to sell that as a series. We will be doing these if we can find a buyer or not as it's more of a side-job/hobby.
ASSUMING (yes, I know this is the part where everyone says it's impossible to answer) that we can find networks that want to purchase the series, what is a good ballpark price a network would pay in South or Central America?
I know there's a million factors, but making some assumptions, what can a simple show be sold for? What could I expect in Latin America? I know this isn't ever goign to be a hit Seinfield show, so I don't expect millions and huge demand, but I just want a ballpark idea if that's possible.
