how do I have to plug a sanken cos 11 to mini trs plug for sennheiser ew 100 G2,
hot (2) on tip, cold (3) on ring and earth (3) on shield, does it work CONSIDERING THAT G2 IS unbalnced and connection for micro on sennhieser manual are tip to hot and cold and earth to shield,

In the G2 the ring is not connected (it's the line-in connector) for the mic. input.

In the G3 the ring needs to be shorted to sleeve.

The mic. should be connected to tip and sleeve only.

We need to know what connector is already on your Sanken lav? From your message it sound likes you have the XLR Power Supply model designed for hard-wired use with phantom power but that's just an inference. What do you actually have?

That's not what I asked. I know you need to connect to a TRS miniplug. What we need to know is what connector is on the mic cable now, not what you need to adapt it to. Or is it just bare wires? If it's bare wires, try this diagram from the Sanken web site ... http://www.sanken-mic.com/en/qanda/index.cfm/11.25 (3-wire) or http://www.sanken-mic.com/en/qanda/index.cfm/20.73 (2-wire). The general wiring sheme is shown here ... http://www.sanken-mic.com/en/qanda/index.cfm/4.19
