Right now I'm using my TM-750 to capture 60p to be used for super slow-motion. Was wondering if anyone with more technical knowledge could say whether or not a firmware upgrade could push these cameras to 60p?

The 7D already can do 60p at 1280x720. And I wouldn't consider 60p super slo-mo. You need about 1000 fps for that...

Sorry, I should've been more specific. I meant 60p at 1080.
Slowmo with this camera is shooting 60p at high shutter speed, putting it in a 24p timeline then using twixtor to do the rest of the slowmo.

If you do a QUICK search, you'll find that this was JUST discussed here. Apparently not possible due to the lack of a second processor to handle the additional frames.

Does the 'dual' in Dual DIGIC 4 not mean 2 processors?
Dual DIGIC 4 processors are used in the EOS 7D and EOS-1D Mark IV.

Perhaps my language was incorrect but my understanding from another thread was that no, there isn't enough processing POWER to do it.

You will never see 1080/60p from either of these DSLRs.
You need dual processors just to hit 720/60p - so logically speaking, you wouldn't be able to hit 1080p/60p without another one... Wait until the next generation of bodies.

Wait until the next generation of bodies.Although the 7D does have dual processors you don't need them to record 720/60p as the 60D, 550D/T2i & 600D/T3i all record 720/60p & have single processors.
