I am sure I saw a post saying there was a way (app) to directly import h264 files and watch them on the Ipad 2, but can't find it anymore. not for editing, but at least for previewing

No app needed. All you need is the camera kits which have an sd card reader and a USB so you can plug in your camera and your picture and video will load through photo app of the iPad 2 hope that help

did you actually watch your videos in the ipad 2?
I am sure I read somewhere that Ipad 2 doesn't view 1080 videos.
but apparently with 1view or whatever it's called you are supposed to be able to achieve that.

I also read that IOS 5 - which should be release soon - will actually allow for direct viewing of Canon's video files on the Ipad 2...worth waiting
