Hi,
i wanted to share with you what just happened to me.....
After i rendered the 5 chapters of my doc with separate audio track to have a better control of the audio....i played back on my wdtv and....OUT Of synch!
The render is hdv 1080 50i from my sony FX1!

From what depends the out of synchronization? It could be possible for the fact that my 500 gb hard disc has only 30gb empty?
Thanks a lot

What did you render to?
I have found that over the years when I render to MPG/AC3 the sync will be out once in a very very great while. It's probably happened maybe 4 times over the years. It looks like a poorly dubbed Japanese martial arts movie ;-)

I found that the way to fix it is to re-render the project. It's a pain to do but it seems to take care of the problem.

What do you mean?
Should i close the project then i re open the project and RErender again?

Yes. I forgot to say that. That's what I do. Remember there are no promises but that seems to do the job.
Close the project, close Vegas, re-open Vegas, re-open the project re-render. A real PITA but we do what we have to, right?!

It sometimes helps to close the project. Delete the .sfk files and reopen the project, which regenerates the .sfk files which contain audio data from the imported videos.

Try this (see attachment) change your "Output type:" to "MPEG-2" instead of HDV. Whenever I render something out that is not set to MPEG-2 I get out of sync audio.

SFK files are what gives you an audio waveform display.
Without them, it would be a plain white audio timeline.
