Hi ,

We recently bought Stereo3D Toolbox LE and it is doing a fine job in adjusting the convergece and we like the autoscale function.

Currently we are previewing SBS, but we still need to deliver L and R separate with LE adjustments.

Our comp /edit is about 4 minutes and it has about 50 shots.

How can we render left and right separate, but also keep the adjustment that we made in LE?

(ps: each shot has it`s own convergence adjustments).Unfortunately there is not much info on how Global mode works, or if this would help in this case :)

Thanks

Hi Eric,

The "Lite Edition" of Stereo3D Toolbox is considered a product for beginners, hobbyists, direct to YouTube3D production, etc. Therefore you won't find more advanced production features like keyframing and the discreet L/R output features that are in the full version. Our broadcast, industrial and theatrical clients use the full version and benefit from all the bells and whistles required to provide proper stereoscopic masters. However, we did add a "2D bypass" output option to the LE version, which is basically the same as disabling the filter from the clip but because it works globally you can use it to output a "2D master" even if other colour correction or similar filters are also applied to the clips.
There is a comparison chart available here: Stereo3D Toolbox version 2 Comparison Chart – Help (http://www.dashwood3d.com/help/toolbox-comparison-chart/)
This chart will be updated for v3.0 once the full version update of Stereo3D Toolbox is released or the full feature set is announced.

Unfortunately we were unable to time the release of LE v3 with full version v3 because of technical issues with Lion, FCP X, and Stereo3D CAT that are being worked out now. We are still discovering little bugs with the FCP X implementation of the Lite Edition and v3.0.1 should be released very soon to address them. Stereo3D CAT will be released after that and then Stereo3D Toolbox v3.0 will be able to be released.
