I can get my new GH2 to record at 720 / 60p easily enough just using the LCD (and the results are rather nice), but when it's attached to my SmallHD DP6 via HDMI, it only records at 1080 / 30p (or 24p) -- there's not even a menu option to switch it to any 720p rates. Is this expected behaviour, or am I (as usual) doing something wrong?
