Hi all.
I've been plagued with this for a while. A German forum seems to think it's the Newblue Fx plugins
Im using Windows 7 64bit and Sony Vegas Pro (64 bit)
The complete error is :
dx_video_grovel_x64.log
svfx-video_grovel_x64.log
dx_grovel_x64.log
Wondering if anyone has encountered this before and if so how they fixed i ? :)

and if you don't use nb fx, do you still get crashes?

Sometimes yes :(
I've also written to newblue and asked them for help.
Will update this thread as progress is made : )

i've had the same thing when using a trial version of nb (can't remember which one though).
since i removed nb fx i haven't had a re-occurrence. that said, i'm not pointing the finger necessarily at nb.

Without seeing the contents of the log, it's really hard to determine exactly what caused the error. If you're on Vegas Pro 10, I would recommend using the OpenFX version which would definitely not cause any DirectX errors. Howevver, I have virtually all NewBlue plugins installed (both DirectX and OpenFX) in Vegas Pro 10 and am not seeing this issue. If you can narrow it down to a specific package, first make sure you're on the most current version. If it's still causing an issue, please go to newbluefx.com and start a support ticket there: Help Ticket System - NewBlueFX (http://www.newbluefx.com/help-ticket-system.html)
