Hi All,

I own a 701RC2 Video Fluid Head (RC2 Quick Release) and the Quick Release plate is attached to my XHA1. I now am looking at purchasing a Glidetrack HD Hybrid Slider, my main issue is how do I quickly remove the Glidetrack and get my XHA1 and 701RC2 back onto my tripod.

I film weddings and I don't want to keep the Glidetrack on my Tripod in case some pour soul walks right into it. Typical scenario would be me taking some neat shots with the Glidetrack and then being called over by a guest to maybe film a speech or a dance sequence, I want to quickly loose the Glidetrack get the XHA1 and Head back onto my Manfrotto 055XBpro.

Any Ideas would be a great help.

I bought a Manfrotto half-ball base which I keep with the slider. I just have to unscrew it and screw back on the pan/tilt head. (I have a 701 head permanently on the slider...)
