OK, wow, dumb move on my part. Was out taking pictures, tripped and fell. It seems as though I broke the part ON the lens that actually helps hold the lens to the camera. I looked at my other longer lens and that part is actually metal. The part on the smaller lens is no other than plastic, the reason why it probably broke in the first place!
Anyone know if this can be fixed and I would like to replace it with a metal piece instead of plastic again.
The lens I am wanting to get this fixed on is:
AF-S NIKKOR 18-55MM
To better explain the part, if you take the lens off your camera and look at it, you will notice 3 raised pieces of metal or plastic, which help hold the lens on as you turn it onto your camera body. I broke 2 of the 3.
Any help?
