I have used my HLX1 for a year but still have not got any good contrast from this camera, where my FX1 does very good jobs on this matter. For references, my setting focuses on these factors:
Black: press
Gama: normal
Coring: all the way to the right
Ped: All the way to the left
Stup Level: All the way to the left
Sharpness: All the way to the right
NR1,NR2: Off
Beside, the focus is very frustrating. Back focus is happening all the time. I am using 6x lense but the auto focus doesn't help much. When I test the focus at my studio with moderate lighting amount, the auto focus adjust itself very slowly. Ugrrr
And the white balance. It's another pain when you are shooting something in mix lighting temprarure!
Am I on the wrong track here?. I feel like I am wrong about the camera either ways; I've got a bad gear or the camera's got a bad owner :).
