Hi guys,
Some colleagues of mine shot some 1080i miniDV footage on a Canon HV30, but they're unable to capture the footage because they don't have FireWire on their MacBook. They've asked me if it would be possible for them to send the miniDV tapes to me so I can use my XL2 to playback the 1080i footage and capture the files to my Mac via FireWire. I would assume we'd run into difficulties because the XL2 is SD only. Has anyone ever tried this before or know if this is possible?
Thanks,
James
