Silly question but I was using both V9 and 10 today when it struck me that the 10 interface background is way darker than 9!! I think I rather prefer the lighter background of the older versions !! Can you change it in 10 or not????

Yes Chris you can. Go to preferences and under the Display tab UNCHECK "use vegas colour scheme". And that should do it

That was the first thing I did and nothing happened!! Dunno why..it if worked for you it should work for me!!

I'll check it again when I run V10 ..maybe the program only changes when you open it the next time!!

Unchecking that will return you to using "Windows" colors. You would then have to change your Windows "theme" in order to change the colors...

I'm running default colours in XP so when I started 10 up the next time the GUI was exactly the same as 9!!

I know the dark interface is supposed to give better contrast but I still prefer the win default colour, probably cos I'm used to it!!
