I want to attach a variety of things with a shoe mount to an HMC-150: an external monitor, a receiver for a wireless lav, and a on camera-light. What options exist for buying something that gives me the ability to attach multiple items?

These should do the trick...though I prefer duct tape (not gaffer tape) and velcro!! HaHa! ;)

Hey Noam
When I still had a couple of small GS500 cameras I made a nifty bracket so the camera form would be larger and at least I could attach accessories...it's basically just two strips of aluminium flat bar and gives the camera a better form factor and the top bar enables all sorts of things to be mounted.
Sometimes it's better to make the rig to actually suit your camera ....for you a single flat bar with a cold shoe mount under would give you a nice area to mount whatever you want and is within the scope of most DIY enthusiast with just basic tools.

I have this bracket that has 3 cold shoes. I used to mount two camera lights and one RODE mic on it.
