Hi everyone,

Here's a little 'mini-trailer' of Mini35 footage I shot for a short film (about a bulimic girl and her dysfunctional family) last week.

Check it out at http://www.q-films.com/clips/GiveMeChocolate.mov

Here was my set-up:

Outstanding footage!

Now THAT is the setup I wish for!

Tell me . .. what filters were used? You got the expo vals and others sets you used? Love your artistry. Did find the more close up shots a bit to "wavering"? For me, took away from the seriousness of the narrative. Hey, but that's just me . . . being jealous of your rig though!

OK .. how much $$$ ? Loads - huh?

Hi Graham,

Thanks for the comments!

The film's budget actually didn't allow for any filters unfortunately.
I did most stuff in-camera and with a few touch-ups in post.

The rig is pretty sexy hey!? The whole thing isn't mine. Only the mattebox system and DVX. The rest was rented. :)

"The rest was rented. :)"

Ahahha . the truth is OUT! . .I don't feel soooo bad now!

And yes, "sexy" is nearer . . maybe a tad more than that. . LOL!

Norm,

What lighting was used, if any? The footage seems darker than normal and lacks what I think is contrast. It could just be me though.

I like the lighting a lot; yes it is dark but not underexposed...
What lenses did you use?
