FCPX on the iPad (http://fcp.co/final-cut-pro/news/457-fcpx-on-the-ipad)
That's pretty crazy, and yes, I see the iMovie-like GUI, but it's pretty cool what Matt was able to do. Hat tip: Ray Sigmond for the link.

Interesting and thanks for posting. I've been surprised to see very little, if any, mention by Apple of iPad functionality with FCPX. To me, it looks like the app is still a way off it's full planned potential, despite what all the sky is falling comments are saying across the web.

Interesting.
I wouldn't really have that much interest in the whole thing on my iPad (as in, running FCP X entirely on my iPad), but I would love it if Apple released some apps that would let me use the iPad as a controller for various parts of FCP X.
Having an app like that, with various controls, the inspector, scopes etc. etc. could be nice, especially since in the new FCP X, a lot of windows pop out where the viewer is. :p

I could've sworn Larry Jordan mentioned "iPad" at one of the FCP X previews before the NAB/SuperMeetup announcement.
Graeme Nattress has a cool iPad app to control the Chromagic FXPlug:
