I 'm thinking of getting the Zacuto snap monitor to be able to use with my z finder on the FS100. I'd like to get a light weight connectorthat would:

1- Allow me to attach the zacuto set up to the side of the camera itself
2- To also let me connect to a set of rails, and
3-Allow me flexibility in positioning the zacuto where i want it.

If anyone has any suggestions on which Noga to buy (or maybe another brand), I would really appreciate the help.

here is the Bh page with most of the Noga arms.

I have this one:
SmallHD StrongArm 6 (http://www.smallhd.com/Store/5-6-inch-HD-Monitor-Accessories/6in-articulating-arm-mount)

Works great. Tightens and loosens everything with one knob.

Lightweight Variable Friction Power Arm Fr DSLR DV bh50 | eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Lightweight-Variable-Friction-Power-Arm-Fr-DSLR-DV-bh50-/270767681562?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0b02f01a)

I've got three of these, no issues.

I ordered the small hd strongarm 6, and hopefully it will do the job. When I ordered my Zacuto evf snap today, I saw a Zacuto arm that had a section that slides over the rail. It looked like the right piece but was $335!! Way too high.

Bruce, the "cheapo" I'm using comes in two lengths if you need something longer. Watch the video, these things are strong.
