I can't speak for this particular model and if it will fit two camcorders but I am pleased with the Thinktank equipment I have. I find it well designed. Airport International? V 2.0 Roller Camera Bag - Think Tank (http://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/airport-international-v2-roller-camera-bag.aspx) Other brands that get high marks from when I was looking at bags are Kata and Petrol. Also, take a look at Strut as they are a DVinfo sponsor with a lot of experience. Richard Alvarez July 3rd, 2011, 09:25 AM I'm not a fan of soft sided carry on bags that are 'regulation size'. There's a tendency to yank them when flights are cramped and put them in the lower cargo area. - just like other 'carry on' luggage is yanked. Robert Turchick July 3rd, 2011, 09:39 AM I use the Kata OMB large which holds my xf300 and 7D with all my lenses and audio plus other accessories. It has a removable luggage cart which works pretty well. Ive never travelled on a plane with it but I think it may be too large to carry on. And it is soft sided so I definitely wouldn't check it even though very well padded. I have a very large pelican with wheels that I could fit a couple of bodies in but would absolutely be fine for checking. I've just spent the past two weeks at the Wimbledon tennis championships and have been speaking to a lot of camermen about this. An Aussie cameraman recommended this bag: Lowepro Pro Runner x450 AW Backpack Lowepro Pro Runner x450 Rolling AW Backpack LP36147-PEU B&H I've had a look online and it seems to answer a lot of my needs - combining carry-on luggage size, wheels and a backpack option. I've also looked at Kata bags - which look really good too. I hope this info is of use, if not for you, then to someone.... Stelios Christofides July 4th, 2011, 12:52 AM Sean Thanks for your answer, but my question is really simple. If there is a bag out there to fit 2 Camcorders (the size similar to Sony Z5 or similar) and some accessories (not one camcorder and one DSLR). My concern is not really to take it on a plane, just to wheel around so I don't have to carry 2 bags. stelios |
