HI. I'm a little confused over a selection of choices regarding making a new project. I am wishing to edit events shot in HDV and I wish to make a DVD with the finished edit. Among the choices offered in the relevant box are DV HDV DVD and blu-ray. Which do I select?. Help welcome. BTW I have made both Blu-ray and DVD successfully but I can't remember which choice I made.

I am dissapointed that I have had no advice on this forum about this matter but I am happy to say that I have received advice on another forum and now the matter is resolved.

Roy, I personally don't know what options are available in VMS 10 as I use Vegas Pro. So that's one limitation to being able to provide accurate info. Plus, there's several different resolutions of HDV and different options are best depending on exactly what you're wanting to do. Realistically there is no single "best" answer without knowing your entire workflow. But I'm glad you found the help you needed. Feel free to share what you found so it may help others.
