There must be a cd with all these on somewhere!

It's the kind of sounds that go with white flashes, whip pans, wipes, animating text - used in many programmes but expeically sport and documentaries - I've heard them called wooshes but apart from the few on some of the online sound effects libraries - a cd with lots on doesn't seem to exist?

If any one knows of one please post!

Cheers

Jon

Sony has lots of the "swooshes" and similar sounds such as sword blades at high speed, electronic jet noises, and more on their 5 disk library. Their "Essentials" ACID library also has lots of them.
Apple had a few free MP3's that had some of these as well, but I don't recall the link.

You might want to try SmartSound - http://www.smartsound.com/effects/sp05flash.html

I used all of their DVD libraries. They have production quality 16, 24 bit sound effects samples, orchestra strings and other stuff. The best thing about them is that each DVD has GB + of content.
Very useful and fast as well. I got my DVDs in just two days after the order.
Hope it helps.
