View Full Version : What I've learned after four months with the F3 Ola Christoffersson June 12th, 2011, 04:06 PM I've written an article on my experiences of using the F3 for documentary work with some tips and tricks that might interest some of you. Daniel Epstein June 13th, 2011, 06:09 PM Hey Ola, Having only used the F3 on one shoot I have to say I agree with your ergonomics comments 100% percent. My usual advice is never buy the first model of anything unless you have the job to pay for it already set up as very often the issues which are discovered in the first model never get solved completely before the updated model gets released. Sometime this puts me behind the technology curve. To me the question is is it the right tool for the right job? Judging from your solutions the camera is not the be all and end all but a very useful high end tool. If the cost of the lenses you want to use and viewfinder you like is more than you want to spend to make the system work the way you want it to then the camera is not the perfect solution. It still might be the best solution but it seems like a work in progress. Drazen Stader June 19th, 2011, 03:19 PM great article...made me decide to go with the f3 instead of the fs100 |
