This question seems to get asked often, but it's hard to find good answers: What is the best way to match XH camcorders with Canon's HDSLR's?
Since I've been using Technicolor's Cinestyle and Cineform's First Light with some success, I thought a decent workflow would look like this:
1. Shoot with the Cinsestyle on my T2i
2. Shoot with a similar preset on my XHA1 (these cameras have such great control over picture, it must be possible to produce a preset which would yield similar results to the Cinestyle, no?)
3. Convert all footage to Cineform, and apply the appropriate "look" that utilizes the suggested LUT for the Cinestyle.
So I don't suppose some fine person has created a preset for the XH line that closely approximates the output of Technicolor's CInestyle?
