Hey Guys Gals and Aliens,
I'm in the process of my fourth website version in 8 years. I'm thinking of adding a blog for our photographs and video demos. I have my own domain, and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for friendly blogging software to add a flexible blog. I specifically want folks to be able to share off the blog to facetwitter land.
Thanks.

WordPress is pretty much the most widely used blogging software...

WordPress for sure. In fact, WordPress is an amazing CMS as well as blogging tool. I'd suggest creating your entire site using WordPress.

I agree with Chris. Wordpress has evolved from a blogging tool to a complete CMS package. When I started, I had used wordpress for my blog/articles. Now it has completely changed. There are many options available in wordpress (themes independently developed and available free of cost). I am happy because you can create an impression of professional site with content displayed according to themes. You may check the diary section of my site IndiaWilds Diary - Tales from India's Wilds (http://www.indiawilds.com/diary)
All the best.
Cheers,

I went with the Godaddy blog only because it integrated so easily with the rest of their products, (Wordpress does also work). I was under the gun to get a site up and figured I would switch over once the pressure was off. But for how I use it it seems to work quite well. Just wanted to give another option.
