I think it is better than the Audigy 4 too, but cannot remember the Audigy's specs at the moment.

yeah creative have done their mail out for this one... it has an onboard processor (not the EMU10k.. although its got that too) but this time theyve also added HW Dolby Digital and DTS decoding straight off the card... advanced HW resampling, a reworking of the soundfont engine, a reqorking of the onbaord effects (this saves using CPU grunt when using plugins within your Music sequencer) it looks like theyve gone back to the drawing baord and reebuilt the whole system..
