I am working on a music video and need help. I want to mount a cam on the end of a guitar shooting down the neck and recording while playing. I saw this back in the 80s on some videos ans want to replicate it here but I cant figure out the best way to do so. I cant see mounting my 7lb XHA1s but maybe a flip or something similar. Whose got good ideas??

try go pro - GoPro Official Store: Wearable Digital Cameras for Sports (http://gopro.com/)
or a pocket camera like the Kodak playsport or Zi8 and attach it with a gorilla pod.
not to sure if it would work but its worth a try!
Good luck.

Hi Doug
A GoPro Hero surely would be ideal for this sort of application???? They are tiny and very light and prefocussed ... I don't think any guitarist would be too happy with anything more than a few ounces at the end of the neck.
I really must grab myself one to do those strange shots that nothing else else could possibily handle.
