I'm talking BIG. Like this: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/attachments/remote-possibilities-acoustic-music-location-recording/120989d1242086419-best-flying-mics-ambient-booms.jpg

From what I've been told, that is a Manfrotto Super Boom (Manfrotto 025BS Super Boom with 008BU Stand - Black 025BS B&H), but the stock boom has been replaced with a flexible telescoping pole (which is....?).

What is it?
Anybody use something like this?
Anybody know other available solutions?

Thank you!

K-Tek has some big ones. Contact them and ask for Dave Fisk. He'll set you up.

Thanks, Chad! Anybody else have leads?

I found the original source for the photo I posted: Ambient Products Booms QP Jumbo Boompoles (http://www.ambient.de/produkte/tonangeln/jumbo/jumbo_e.html)

That, almost certainly, is an Ambient (http://www.ambient.de/produkte/tonangeln/tonangeln_e.html).

In fact it is an Ambient - it's the same picture on their website.

That Manfrotto is only a baby.

Did the OP contact Dave Fisk at K-Tek like I said? This is what I was talking about:
