Not sure if this has been posted here, but if not, this really sets the bar high for the style:

That's um, different! Perhaps this is the answer to the "what's the next trend" type thread here recently :)

I guess anybody who wants to make a music video for their wedding, is more than welcome...There's more than enough production places who could do it.

But as a professional company, and i'm assuming charging high end prices, i wonder if their drawing too much attention to themselves in regards to copyrighted material...

Just a thought.

That looks like fun. I sure hope that isn't the only edited footage of their wedding though.

I liked it. It actually got better as it went on. The dirty bit thing made me laugh, very funny.

The wedding-day music video is recycled. Little about it here.

I like what David Robin did but that's not so new as you might think.
This YouTube - Brian & Eileen's Wedding Music Video. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCGCEbEreQw) is the first video I saw in that style and to be honest I did took the idea and did a music video clip on a Mamma Mia themed wedding last year albeit with no planning at all (I just asked the people to sing the song the D.J was about to play and they luckily did) and only two takes on the song This is a password protected video on Vimeo password spz_demo
It's a great idea but it's hard to find the right couples for that (especialy in Greece were I live)

P.S. this is part of a 25min edit and not a standalone video clip, that't the reason of the unrefined start and finish.

A very nice video but I personally do not believe it would become to intrusive. Photographers have a hard enough time trying to get everyone together for a single group photo, so I can't imagine how hard it would be to try and get everyone involved in this kind of thing!

This concept is nothing new and can be traced right back to the pioneer of them all 'Graham Fenton' who in my opinion made some of the best wedding music videos of this type.

I guess trends just go around in circles!

Still, great fun and no doubt the couple will love it, albeit in a cheesy way:)

I stumbled across this one a few years ago. One of my favorites.

I think i'd feel embarrassed if I was the one in that video, hahah!

Well done, but not exactly the way I capture genuine moments on film. Of course if the couple really insisted on it i'd make every effort to accommodate, but not exactly my preferred way of telling the story.

That is my reaction exactly. Would love the positive press though...

That's awesome! thanks for sharing. I did a wedding at the same place last month (Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, California). It's so inspiring =)

Wow, that was different. Really good but resource hungry;

Can you imagine telling the client the video production bill for 7 cameramen and a jib!

But it's the results at the end. I can see $500 wedding hunters now wanting this in there video.

My buddy in Philly did a high production with a NFL player. He did a reality show themes wedding video. Apparently he had people go into a room and talk about the wedding day throughout the day like the reality shows. Hes still editing it, I cant wait to see how it turns out.

But I for one is a believer in not drawing too much attention to the day. Like the music video idea, looks amazing but it definitely distracted from the wedding day. In my eyes the wedding should no slow down nor speed up for the videographer, we should document the day as is, as we werent there.
