I am going to shoot a restaurant scene for a short, and I have no control over the environment; I am thankful that the owner merely let us use the place.
Is it legal for trademarks to appear in the background (like a Budweiser sign)? Is it legal for me to shoot with commercial radio playing in the background? Are there any other legal issues I should be aware of?

Emre,

See this thread- http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=49505

It will give all the info we can have at this time. It is a newer thread as you will see and has the best answers you are going to find here. One of the posters is an IP attorney and another is married to one.

Nothing else needs to be said here. Good luck,

Mike
