Is there a single controller for both Zoom and Focus for the GY-HM700 with the Canon 14x lens? B&H shows two separate controller units in the accessories list for this camera, one for zoom and one for focus. Problem is, they both use the same 8-pin port on the lens so I'm guessing you can't use both simultaneously. I'd prefer one controller that does both, but I'm not opposed to getting two controllers as long as they can be used simultaneously.

Anybody got suggestions?

Most lenses have a place where you can screw an adapter to the lens with a gear that manually turns the focus for you. You attach your focus cable to that and off you go.

Yes you need two separate controllers but both can be operated simultaneously. Only the zoom controller uses the port on the lens like Calvin said.

I use a different zoom controller then listed. It's the Libec ZC-9Pro. Works fantastic and saves you a lot of $. Works on Canon and Fujinon lenses (there's a switch to select your lens). Never had a problem with it and you can attach it to any tripod handle. Great value for your money!

That Libec ZC-9Pro looks pretty handy. Suggestions for a tool of that kind for doing the focus?!?!

I was hoping Libec made a focus controller as well, but I did not find any..

(Currently using the Fuji x17 that came with the initial batch of 700s')

Cheers,
