I have AE 6.5 pro and some of the more detailed effects have been rendering very slowly. I have a Pentium 4 2.60 GHZ processor and have 1gig of ram. Is this enough to do everything that AE has going on?

Roger Averdahl August 19th, 2005, 08:41 AM AE loves RAM and you will notice a huge difference if you put in another 1 Gb, or more. Also, make sure, if possible, that no other applications is running in the background while using AE. I have 2 Gb RAM and if i have Encore DVD running in the background the render time in AE is sloooooow. /Roger Henry Cho August 20th, 2005, 09:22 AM it depends on the effect... some effects render very quickly. other effects, like digieffects delerium, magic bullet, etc., take a long time with any of today's computers. |
