Hey Everyone,

I happened to find this forum last week and decided to register, seems like there’s lots of great people and information to be found here.

I have a strong background in traditional photography, shooting with everything from a 35mm SLR to an 8x10 Field Camera.

I have always wanted to try my hand at video, specifically documentary style nature / wildlife films. I’m saving my pennies for a Panasonic HPX170 to begin with. I’d love to go for the Canon XF300 but my budget won’t allow for one of those.

I look forward to learning from all of you and hope to post some examples of soon.
