the audio is so sweet sounding, i love it. Im guessing you had a feed to the dj booth. My question is... What happens when in mid speech the dj decides to turn up or down the mic? Now whatever recorder setting you have isnt right and you are too busy shooting to fix?

We use record/tape out from the DJ board to our Zoom H2, and we place another H2 in front of the speaker.

We've been burned in the past by bad DJ's, or poor wireless mic signal. We've only used our own lavs a handful of times, and usually only when I get a bad vibe from the DJ or band. In those cases, one of our cams is usually pretty close to the BM/MOH and we get...something usable. /knocks on wood.

90% of the time there is no issue and it sounds great :)

Agreed...where do you find music like this?? The music in this absolutely beautiful. I struggle so much with music it's unreal...probably one of my least favorite things about doing weddings.

Oh trust me, I feel like I spend more time finding the right song than I do editing. Our editor actually found this one :)
