I am not a newbie on Apple Motion, but there is a simple effect I can't find: I want a text to move in from the side, stay in the center for a while while drifting slowly, then move out. With some nice ease in and out motions.
What is the simplest way to do this?

You should be able to do that effect in less than 1 minute by just using
the 'motion path' or 'throw' behaviors. One behavior relatively quick
to move the text in from offscreen. Next behavior, for the length of
the text, slowly making it 'drift'. Last, another behavior relatively
quick, to move the text offscreen again.
