Has anyone found the new Plug-in for FCP that was supposed to be released on 4-25-11?

No, and I have been looking. I was starting to wonder if it was bad info - though there was a fair amount of chatter about it from a number of sources.

"Canon is releasing a new update for their EOS to ProRes 422 conversion plug-in for Final Cut Pro. This new version (1.2) converts footage twice as fast as FCP’s converter and allows you to convert footage from any folder. The update will be available for free on April 25th."

I think you'll find the v1.2 that I mentioned is the latest update available, more info here:

Is anyone else having problems with their Log & Transfer crashing FCP since installing the EOS Plugin?

Mine crashes every time - I point the Log and Transfer to either the card with the files or a drive location with the files. The little spinning wheel starts to load the location in the Log & Transfer window - then the spinning segmented wheel freezes and then FCP shuts down with "Do you want to report this error" message.

Is there any way any of you can share the .dmg? I'm not finding this plug-in anywhere. I pull up my operating system on the canon 7d webpage, go to software and I'm not finding any plug-ins. Thank You.

Correction. Look for it under OSX - not 10.6 etc, it's not listed. Just FYI.
