Hey guys

Was filming at the weekend on 7d with Sandisk udma 16GB 60mb/sec and 5 files got the "cannot playback movie" message and can't be opened on the computer. 4 of them look like they can be saved somewhat with the treasured download (Aero Quartet: Video Software and Repair Service (http://www.aeroquartet.com/))

Probably the most important 4gb file looks like it may not make it. When I right click the card it shows that the card is full (16gb) but right clicking the mov file which is now called jvi$382 instead of MVI_4382 it shows 0 bytes. If I do a mouseover it shows 3.99GB.

Any chance? If I try to copy it I get a message saying it's no longer located on the sandisk card and to locate it

Any help would be great.

I'm fortunate to never have the need to try it myself, but you should be able to download a data recovery applet called RescuePro from Sandisk that MIGHT help. Pretty much all the SD / CF companies have something similar.
