This project was shot at 1080-24p during what may be the Grand Canyon's last major snow storm this season.

I thought I'd seen this before. I watched a couple of your videos that influenced me to buy the camera!
You remind me of the single best reason to shoot 1080; the higher resolution. It appears the zooms were done in post?

Shot this one last weekend (April 8-10), some of my usual landmarks, some new. Some zooms with camera, most in post.
Thanks for watching Jeff.

My mistake about having seen it before. I saw another video with same or similar opening shot of the same area during a snow episode, it was remarkably the same, but has been months so I'm foggy on the details.

Nice job Dan. Did you use the 300x for the time lapse?
Yeah Jeff I thought it was the other one too. There was another shot at the same location in the snow, not sure where I saw it.
Hey Dan how about giving us one of the Painted Desert or is that too far away?

Thank you for the kind words Jim.
Yes, used 300X, and speeded up in post. Works nicely for daylight timelapse effect.
Painted Desert is a good idea. I'll do some research. I was close early this year doing a Monument Valley project with the Panasonic TM700.

Guys thanks for the time lapse tip. I was scratching my head at first about 300X then realised that you meant 300% variable frame rate. I am continually finding new neat things that I can do with this camera.
