I am a guy from the capitol in Norway, Oslo, who got hold of an old s-vhs camera "back in the old days" (1999). I started to record just before my daughter was born and have been recording since. I don't remember the first camera, I just borrowed it from the father-in-law, but I think it was a Panasonic.
After that i bought my first DV camera in 2003, a Panasonic NV-GS200 and have been using that until last week. Now I have gone from DV to HD, I just got my Panasonic SD900 and thats how I ended up here.
I use my camera basicly to record events where my daughter is present and have already created a DVD-collection for the now x-in-laws and my plans are to continue to create movies with important memories for those people around me.
I have already found lots of useful info in here and are looking forward to deep-dive into topics about recording, especially about low-light recording.
