Hey guys,
which DoF calculator do you use with your F3? I use 'Simple DoF' for iPhone, however, the F3 isn't listed in there yet. Neither is a S35mm format. Is it safe to go with the Canon 7D preset since the crop factors of these cameras are similar or will this not give me reliable results?
Just wondering which DoF calculator/preset you use in combination with your F3.
Thanks! :)

I use iDof Calc on an iPod Touch. Hopefully it is still available. One of the most used apps on it besides Address Book.
Daylight and AJA DataCalc are two other indispensable apps for camera people.

Which preset do you use for the F3? Or does that program actually come with a preset for the PMW-F3 already?

Apologize. I meant to include that in the post. I use a crop factor of 1.5. The program predates the F3.

7D would work but I don't know what the circle of confusion they might be using unless you know its for video. F35 would be an exact fit.

pCam looks really useful. Just checked out their website. It gives a good indication of how the app works. It is much more visually oriented than iDof Calc and has other features like the ability to use photos taken of your scene and lay them into a Field of View Calculator actually showing what the crop will be when you size up your lenses. iDof Calc is free and pCam is 30 bucks. Here's the website...

Thanks Aaron for the tip.
